Snowmobile Trader Community Guidelines

Snowmobile Trader strives to create a lighthearted community for all snowmobile enthusiasts. This is a place where anyone passionate about snowmobiling can feel welcome. Just as riders should be courteous of each other on the trails, we ask that all SnowmobileTrader.com users have the same level of respect online.

Steer Clear: Much like the regulations on a riding trail, SnowmobileTrader.com has a few safety rules and expectations for its community members. SnowmobileTrader.com embraces a vast and wide-ranging community and we’d like you to follow these basic guidelines and treat everyone with respect. Here are a few topics that can put you on thin ice:

Sex and Nudity

Nudity is not allowed, particularly if it is in a sexual context. Generally, if a video is intended to be sexually provocative, it is not acceptable on SnowmobileTrader.com.

Hate Speech

Hate speech refers to content that promotes hatred against a group or person for any reason or on any basis, including (among other things) race, ethnicity, religion, sexual identity, gender identity, disability or nationality. Hate speech has no place in our snowmobiling community and will not be tolerated on SnowmobileTrader.com.

Shocking and Disgusting

Going full throttle on the trails is fun, but sometimes people do get hurt. However, it’s not appropriate to post violent or gory content on SnowmobileTrader.com. Nothing on our site needs to be shocking, sensational, or disrespectful.

Dangerous or Illegal Acts

SnowmobileTrader.com does not allow any content that is intended to incite violence or encourage dangerous illegal activities. This type of content includes, but is not limited to, instructional bomb making, assassin training, sniper attacks, or videos that train terrorists or othewise provide instruction on terrorist-related activities. Furthermore, SnowmobileTrader.com prohibits all content that depicts or otherwise provokes illegal activities such as mistreatment of animals, drug use and abuse, underage drinking and smoking, and reckless / dangerous operation of any motor vehicles.

Children

Videos involving children (anyone under the age of 18) are particularly sensitive. Please be cautious when posting something involving a child. Videos containing children should never be sexually suggestive or violent or otherwise inappropriate for minors. Be advised that we work closely with law enforcement and will report child exploitation of any type or nature.

Copyright

As a creative community, it is essential that everyone on SnowmobileTrader.com respects the copyrights and other ownership rights of others. If you are not sure if something will violate someone's copyright, the safest thing to do is to create something completely original. If it's entirely your creation, you never have to worry about copyright infringement or other legal issues because you own the subject matter. If you’ve recorded something from your TV screen, or downloaded a video or music track online, don’t post it unless you have permission. Read our Copyright Tips for more information.

Snowmobile Trader Enforces these Guidelines: SnowmobileTrader.com staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. If you see content that violates our Terms of Use,then click the “Flag” button under the video to submit it for review by the SnowmobileTrader.com staff.

Accounts are penalized for violating our Community Guidelines and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination.
